Notes:

Brotherhof is a pianoless quartet, born in 2014 with the aim of expressing creative thought and a way of being, building its own identity over time.
The Band members are Antonello Del Sordo on trumpet, Mattia Dalla Pozza on saxophone, Luca Grani on electric bass and Giovanni Minguzzi on drums.
This quartet moves through improvised music, in search of spaces between implicit harmony and good groove, taking up new directions, in the spirit of a collective research in real time.
Amongt the eight tracks of their CD, the tune “Aerei di Carta” is a tribute to their friend and teacher Marco Tamburini.
In both “Aerei di Carta” and “Bocca di Rosa”, they have had the pleasure to feature Stefano Onorati on piano. “I have known the members of Brotherhof for years, they all have a lot of experience, visions, approaches from different musical “corners” and not linked to any label or style. Let’s say that, considering their age and experience, what impresses the most is the sense of freedom they have playing together, the will to find their own voice at any cost, taking risks without compromises. This is not an album for a passive listener, you need to be driven by their constant search, a trip that these four musicians want to make with who will listen to.” – Stefano Onorati
